So let me break the rules and throw it back a little on a Wednesday. I had the privilege of going backstage to shoot the Bridal Showcase by Sterns before their beautiful gowns and dresses were shown to the rest of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week attendees. This was honestly one of the best experiences of many that are yet to come. I could go on about how beautiful the dresses were, models and the show but I'll let the few pictures I took do the talking.
I've experienced quite a lot this year, most being lows as compared to highs. But this doesn't take away the fact that I've had a good year career wise because of all that I've achieved.
What I've learnt the most is as a creator, all your ideas won't be great but that doesn't mean you should stop creating or trying. A lot of the times you'll lose motivation (I have and still do more times than you'd imagine), you'll just want to stay in bed and do nothing but that's alright. Just make sure that the next day you wake up and try again.
All it really took to overcome my unproductive behavior was planning, a very vital skill and it does not need to be anything professional. It can be as simple as writing down what you have to do during the day, making sure you get it done (execute) and waiting for the results or marking as achieved!
Every morning when I wake up I open all my social media, see whats happening (my morning paper haha!) then proceed to opening my notes to plan out the day. It goes as simple as noting down activities like checking emails, completing my lab reports and so forth and I make sure to erase or tick what I manage to achieve by the end of the day. Ever since I started this routine I have managed to have a lot of things done as compared to when I didn't because I get to feel guilty and unproductive when a lot is not completed.
I just thought I'd share my everyday tip to get my life rolling and not feel like I'm not doing enough to achieve my goals. This is just a tip and may not work for everyone as effectively but make sure to give it a try. ;)
Remember:
plan. execute. achieve.
After a long while of losing motivation and inspiration on my modeling career I decided to take a break. I've been doing runway shows nevertheless, attending fashion shows and looking into getting an agent.
So last month I decided to do a studio shoot with one of Botswana's best photographers David Billboard for Billboard Photography. I decided to name it 'The Expressionist' because of my facial expressions, body language and posture. Here's the outcome.

This post will probably be most useful to iPhone photographers and people always on the move but need to capture moments and upload on the go.
Note that this is only my opinion and preferred photo editors for my iPhone.
My very fist go to app is VSCO. It comprises of elegant filter presets and a great selection of image adjustment tools. You will find:

My very fist go to app is VSCO. It comprises of elegant filter presets and a great selection of image adjustment tools. You will find:
- Beautiful and subtle one-tap presets
- Adjustment filter strength
- Large range of presets available for download (You'll have to buy most but they are affordable)
- Image adjustment tools for exposure, color and other enhancements
- Integrated camera and photo platform
This app is free in the app store but some filters have to be bought (very reasonable prices if you really need them).
The other app I use is Snapseed. It is an all-purpose photo editor for image enhancements and adjustments. You will find features that correct:
- Exposure, color and sharpening adjustments
- Crop, rotate, straighten and correct perspective
- Brushes and healing tools
- Vignette, filters, HDR and black and white
- Frames and text
This app is currently one of the most popular apps for iPhone because it is very easy to use but at the same time offers very powerful (for lack of better words) collection of tools.
This app is also free in the app store.
Again, please note that this post is about the apps I use and thought I should share. If they don't work well for you feel free to explore the store for what satisfies your needs. Enjoy!

Can I just start by saying despite the falls I've experienced this year, I've really had a great year by far. This is because I've managed to achieve a lot more than all the other years and it feels so good. I've met the right crowd, hung out with the right crowd and overall ticked so much from my yearly goals.
One of them being Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week, I'm happy to share with you images of me from day 2 of the fashion week. It was a great experience filled with great and popular faces, great fashion (for fashion lovers) and sociable too.
